History

Lionheart started in the spring of 1991 in a kiosk in University Heights Shopping Mall as "Afford-a-Bill" Tax Services. A catchy name that is actually a play off of our President and Founder's name, Bill Stafford.

Mr. Stafford began his career in the 1980's with a group of 20 companies that traded on the Vancouver Stock Exchange and has over twenty-five years experience in the tax and accounting fields. Although we have grown our business to five permanent corporate and franchise offices, we remain 100% Island Owned.

Lionheart is active in the community of Greater Victoria supporting both Camosun College and The University of Victoria. Lionheart is also a major sponsor of The Victoria Shamrocks Lacrosse Club and Mr. Stafford sits as one of the board of directors.
